Summer Slugger: Student Summer Learning

Summer learning loss disproportionately affects students from disadvantaged backgrounds, widening the achievement gap. To address this, I art directed the design of an engaging 18-week summer learning program that helps 4th and 5th graders retain crucial math and literacy skills.

This gamified learning experience, set within a captivating baseball theme, unlocks activities at regular intervals, offering rewards for consistent progress. Students not only reinforce essential skills but also enjoy the freedom and motivation of game-based learning, ensuring they enter the next school year ready to succeed.
